I really need to learn more stuff with the RCP and set things up better. So far its been sorta useless, but I understand its not really setup for AX. Doing things on my phone has been terrible so I think I need to at least switch to a small tablet. As is, setting up sensors and what not has been like pulling teeth.

Setting up sensors is super easy. What issue are you having?

I have an advantage in that I have a 10 so I also log all ECU values through CAN into the RCP into one neat datalog.

Also have everything wirelessly going to my headunit:

We have exactly that on my link g4. It has a couple of tables on it. For example it has a 3d oil pressure vs rpm table.

Its hard to explain how it goes but basically as the rpm increases the minimum oil pressure does too and if the rpm and oil pressure go to a box thats outside of this the ecu cuts the fuel and ignition until its back into range. E.g if its got 80psi at 4000rpm happy days. But if the pressure drops to 40psi at 4000rpm it cuts. Yet it will be fine at 40psi at 2000rpm.

this is all automatic as like mentioned earlier you just dont look at gauges.

we also have a table set up for water pressure same as oil pressure.

and then theres other cuts for overtemp. Over boost. Low ethanol level etc.

oil pressure is ur single most important parameter ive found. Followed by water temp and pressure. Then oil temp. Boost is nice to know but should be fine.

I hate RCP. I still MUCH prefer my traqmate.

The RCP software sucks, we've been exported the data out of RC and getting it to work in GEMS where the data can be of real use.

Trying to use the data in RCP has been pretty useless. Especially figuring out how to compare run to run. I think adding SoloStorm to this is going to be mandatory though that wont let me also log tire temps via Izze sensors.

So I would have to log tire temps or log solostorm to compare runs.
