Andy

Is the whine, especially on deceleration, loud and annoying for anything other then race car?
Wondering if this gearbox has any place in road going car? Dual purpose.

Thank you

it is not just the whine, but the dogs are loose, so it crashes a lot on decel/accel..

Count me the hell in. If I had the money, I'd have one even though I only do a few HPDE per year
It's all about the fun.

Youre a true gearhead

Have no need for a sequential, but as Kiki noted, that intitial gear engagement "thakathakathak " sold me

The model EvO that i would love to have is Ken Thwaits (sequential air shifter)

THIS. Tryin to drive at a slow speed can be difficult and super annoying. We drove a Dogbox 5000 street miles on one lap and that was a bit annoying. SEQ be worse as you cant just go to neutral, have to go through all the gears.

Took the fun right out of it

Good thing we have members who know about this stuff. I like to float the tranny into neutral on decel at times. Also, skip gears going up

On the sequential, why cant you engage the clutch & cycle the tranny into "N"?

you can but with a H pattern you just slip it out without a clutch.. with a seq it is click click click..

Kiki, have you ridden motorcycles much? I guess down shifting through the gears seems like it would be less of an issue but I have never driven a car with one.
