Broken clutch disc - the domino effect

new motor, new trans, new diff........Ofcourse the clutch breaks....along with silicone couplers. The domino effect of everything breaking downline that hasn’t been replaced.

Thus is is my well proven quarter master. Any good road race clutch suggestions at 700hp?

How much torque?

Really, the way that broke, it looks like fatigue. Not a failure due to finding the ultimate strength of the part. Just about everything on a racecar has a replacement interval, and may not always be because it's actually worn out in the normal sense.

Agreed. ‘My quarter master has been through so much for past 3-4 race seasons. Can’t complain. Torque is 600ish at flywheel.

You're kinda stuck with a QM or Exedy triple at that level.
