The headlight restoration was one of the first things I did to my Evo when I first got it this year. Here's how I did it:
1500 grit wet sand
buff with Mequiar's Ultra-Cut
buff with Meguiar's prewax polish
Clean and apply Lamin-X headlight film
It's been months of sunlight and there isn't any signs of oxidation so far. I also wrapped the CF section on the spoiler.
finally received the tow hook i ordered a few months ago. the instructions are in japanese, but it looks like i just bolt the thing right onto the factory tow hook? what prevents it from sliding around? just the friction of tightening it down?

Honestly, it's just a tow hook and doesn't take much. Even if it did move a bit, that's fine. It will settle itself and allow you to be pulled out of the gravel. Where did you get it? I've been thinking about something a bit more obvious, so they don't try to use my trailer hitch
