stock plugs still good for stock turbo bolt ons e85, yea?
Buy from a known good vendor.

Me
STM
English Racing
Local parts store like Oreillys or NAPA
Etc

DO NOT buy off of Amazon. That is where most of the fakes are.

I've bought fakes off eBay before. They'll show up in old school boxes or in Japanese. Any NGK Laser Iridium on my shelf comes in these silver boxes: https://stmtuned.com/products/5245-i...ug-evo-9-mivec

Switching to SD was a good thing. Just keep ad a MAP sensor to your spares list.
My temp sensors are getting killed regularly...

the fakes I bought a while ago from my previously reliable ebay seller looked exactly like the real ones. it had something else on the box not "EAC"

Oh damn, I didn't even know fake plugs were a thing. I'm running NGKs from amazon but no box to compare if they were real or not. Assuming amazon are 95% chance fake. I hate that its basically just a site for knockoffs now and no repercussions for the companies selling them.

Guess I'll pick some up locally to take with me to lincoln.

I've found RockAuto typically has the best price for NGKs.

if the iridium tip melts and the ceramic part breaks then you hit the jackpot.
in my experience, they can take autox temps tho

I'm trying not to run toe given street car.. no other way to get the turn in I want with the power oversteer on exit I want (to have to control)?

Again tho, I think going from 1.5-way to 1-way will do some of the work, my setup *should* be relatively neutral/loose.

IAT... I run a bosch type sensor threaded in the inlet manifold and it looks like the vibrations tend to damage the small capacitor (or is it a resistor) that is used as the sensing element. I was told that a drop of epoxy would make them live longer...

mine is on the IC pipe before the throttle body so vibration should be at minimum. whats the effect when they go bad?

Back when I autoxed in street class, the rules were basically one bar (front or rear), +- 1" wheel diameter, and shocks, more or less for non-maint performance. Has that changed? The new GR Corolla is coming out with the 8spd auto and I reeaaaaally want one. Think a rear bar and some sticky 18" tires might be a very fun setup.
