JR1 oil

What’s up everyone, I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this but EvoM has changed so much not sure how to use it anymore lol. Anyway, has anybody heard of JR1 oil? Just want to see what’s better to use in my built engine. JR1 is a full synthetic oil and brad penn is Demiel synthetic. I’m trying to order oil and trying to figure out what to use. Thanks in advance

You should use what your engine builder recommends.

Yup, I would listen to the engine builders recommendations. Why? Because these days you have to take a look at your turbo choice, weather, bearing clearances, mileage, fuel type, what your cousins last name is, what you had for dinner last night, and greater use of the engine to actually determine the best oil brand, type, as well as weight to use. It's a lot to take in and easy to make the wrong choice.

Weather isn't really a consideration.

JR1 Racing Oil is owned by a local guy and friend of mine named Mike Roth. He also owns MR2 Performance which is a fab shop that builds everything from headers to full tube chassis cars. He is really well known in the drag racing community and a lot of the guys who have way more money that I could fathom, are running JR1 oil in their $150k+ race cars. He build the chassis for Carey Bales S2000, the chassis for Geoff Turk's record holding Challenger, etc and all of which are running JR1 Racing Oil.

I would recommend checking out his Facebook page. He's a great guy with a great product and the results speak for themselves.
