NJMP Thunderbolt.....
So finally got on a track (last Oct actually). They have this "paced" day where you run behind an instructor
and there is no passing. My second time on a racetrack and my first day ever with the EVO
(took DD Fusion Sport the first time, as it's an auto, figured it would be easier trying
to learn lines, etc....)
Not sure what a good time for a mildly modified EVO, but I ran best
of 1:41 and change. Certainly not pushing as hard as I could, especially
with EBC yellows, which are horrible track pads, or so they seemed
(didn't instill much confidence). Have Whitelines on both ends and set rear
to stiffest and front to softest, but still understeering I think ( I also did free rear
diff clutch mod)
Anyway, near the end of the day, I managed to get behind only 2, C7's and ZL1 Camaro, so
I kind of had "free" track at that point, since I wasn't going to keep up with them. Here's my lap,
try not to fall asleep watching..........
