I see, what do you think pulls more vacuum? The intake pipe or the intake manifold? I would imagine the intake manifold. In my case I could also go with two -6ANs into the intake pipe since I still have a second free port on the catch can's side instead of just one. I know the side vent is really well baffled but I want to evacuate as much air as possible (hence why I wanted to keep it -10AN into the can vs -6AN w/a reducer)
And couldn't a check valve work as well as the stock PCV?
i dont run a catch can right now but thinking about the more and more track days i'm doing, i think i need one, right?
i am probably going to go with the radium seems like a nice well fitted one. do you guys disconnect the can to empty it? seems like it mounts very close to the abs module

intake manifold vent works only when you are off the throttle..
Most catch cans work fine for daily drivers or drag racers. I gave up on most of these designs because the g-forces from road racing would seem to help the oil find it's way out. .
I made this can and it works very well. Please excuse the crude drawing.
-Oil catch can is round so that oil can't get past the almost kind of like a bell mouth
-I also used block off plate in the inlets. This encourage the oil head down
-Hard to see, but the tubes that attaches to the K&N filters goes down a bit.
Also added these to the valve cover. These helped reduce oil from being introduced into the catch can.
can you guys post a pic of the radiums that you've mounted? I took a quick look, seems like with the ac line and the abs module there's no space in the area they suggest?
I put mine where the STM one goes, uses the two site bolts off a bracket on the tranny right below the intake. Lower for gravity and draining.

I built one with a tube in a tube design... Basically few tubes of increasing diameter within one another, with holes on alternating ends.. so that the gasses have to go up and down the catch can.. inlet is on the bottom and fed from the 12 an fitting in the block.. the same inlet is used as a drainback..

It doesn't really, the can's far too big. Plus you don't want the "level" of the hose going up at any point. I got the comp can and had to take the middle section out for it to clear my splitter.

well ****. yea i'm having difficulty seeing where this would fit without massive rerouting, let alone take it out/unscrew to empty.
i need to look at my car again but i don't remember having that area really "free"
I mounted mine there per the instructions without any issues. The can was up against the brake line that goes to the front passenger wheel, but that might be because I replaced that line years ago with a homemade one. I ended up just bending the line out of the way
