Facebook group for those who actually do performance driving
I was curious if there is an existing Facebook group for Evo owners that actively participate in motorsports (drag/track/autox). I am part of several Evo 8/9/X buying and selling groups, but most of that is a ****show of people trolling for various reasons. I saw one group called Dsm/Evo Racers but the posts I saw were also selling and vendor advertisements. I know it is a very small minority of owners, but it would be nice to have a place where we could share track day videos, techniques, or car setup.

^ LOL.
My contribution of most common FB post I see:
"Throwing around the idea of selling my Evo, here is everything done to it blah blah. Don't really need to sell". Then the inevitable comments on pricing, lowballing, etc.
Thanks for the input everyone. For some reason, I thought this forum was not that active anymore but I am proven wrong.

Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, and Instagram are fine for low-effort, short-lived discussions. If people are firing off a couple sentences and okay with the conversation fading away after a few days, it works out.
Forums are still king for long-lived discussions and information sharing.
We're still here to help enable your car addiction. Speaking of which, have you considered a bigger turbo or wider tires? Surely you'd be happier with a few more horsepower...

I watched DSMTalk die and am grateful that the social medias haven't killed this one yet. I will say I'm glad that the "stupid question kids" have mostly gone over to the social media platforms, though.
