Vorshlag camber plate torque spec?

I am stuck searching for my phone right now. The
three studs that come through the strut tower are much smaller than OEM. Or aren't they? I see 33 foot-pounds for the stock part, but these are nowhere near that large. I have scoured Vorshlag's website and cannot find torque specs anywhere.

Recommendations?

You are absolutely right, I emailed them 10 FRICKEN YEARS AGO that they are using M8s when OEM studs are M10. For the price they charge, they need to fix that crap.

When I talked to them on the phone the guy literally argued with me then went to his stash to find an OEM part to verify. For what to torque an M8 to, just snug or ~20ft-lbs if you really want to torque it.

When I put them on, I was like "WTF?!". Agreed that they should be beefier, for the price. I haven't had any complaints, though...I guess they are good enough.
20ftlbs is what I used. I want to say I found the actual specs, at one time, and it was something low, like 16ftlbs. I dunno. I sure wish they were a little bigger, though.

Why do they need to be beefier? All they do is keep the strut from falling out of the tower if the tire comes off the ground.

Its not the load, its the fit and its just wrong. Technically an M3 could hold the tensile loads needed.

That's why I said that apparently don't need to be. Though it would be nice to not have them flop around in the mounting holes.

Dallas just needs to formally release his own for the well known shock vendors and stop being baised with his Ohlins lol. I currently have the Ground Control ones as the Vorshlag's were on backorder then. I kinda prefer them because they sandwich the thin *** mounting location rather then just bolting from one side.

My only concern with these Vorshlag plates is that I have a strut-mount tow hook. Not too sure if these little studs can handle the shear.
