Flexible wire sheathing?
Flexible wire sheathing?
Gents,
I've found some silicone heat shrink tubing but most of it looks unreliably cheap or imported. I need to sheath in professional fashion a set of 6 conductors by 22ga, and I want it to be very flexible with no adverse strain locations ie kinks etc..
What are you using?

I used these a lot recently, esp when I relocated my ACD, batt, dressed up the engine bay

not sure what types of wire you used but if theyre for automotive then it can handle anything. i used the split loom on the ACD/exposed wires behind the rear wheel.
or you can use a multicore/conductor cable. I use these for my ebikes/escooters

I am a professional electrical engineer for a global OEM and the only thing we use on wiring like this is a heat-shrink with the glue that oozes out when it is heated and shrunk. This does a fantastic job of keeping out crusty green corrosion. As far as protection over it, I love to use the TESA brand tape over it. I bought some of this in various sizes when I re-located my battery in the evo to the trunk. I use this in all my cars and all of my connections have stayed perfect over many years of use.

I typically use the stuff from either Summit or Pegasus. Shrink the connections and loom the whole wire from front to back. Tears up your skin though getting em in there. The "tool" only works in a straight line on a bench.
