Vishnu EVO vs. Sparco EVO
Vishnu EVO vs. Sparco EVO
Enough is enough, two of the best track EVOs in the country need to go head to head. Vishnu's EVO has had awesome showings at One Lap Of America and Car and Driver's Tuner Challenge. Sparco's EVO has had awesome showings at Sport Compact Car's EVO Super Test (EVO Orgy) and Sport Compact Car's Time Trial Challenge. I think it's about time to see which of these two cars is arguably the best track EVO in the USA? How would these two cars stand up against the HKS EVO TRB-02?
HKS EVO TRB-02
2.79 sec to 60 is very fast for a road car. but have you ever seen a 750bhp rallycross car accelerate? try 0-60 in 1.9 seconds!!! now thats fast. i think some of them can out pull a F1 car to 60! HAHA.
there aren't many evos in rallycross for some reason! be nice to see some more!
thanks Chris!

The Sparco evo keeps getting more and more serious. I don't think few road going cars are going to touch it soon. Wait til you see the brakes it used in the USCC. (18K for the front calipers)

the turbo trix EVO that ran a 9.95 is faster than the norris designs evo.
metaphysical, let me guess. The callipers are 8 piston WRC callipers and the disks are about 380mm in diameter!
Or is he going for the old BTCC set up, 2 sets of 4 piston callipers on the same discs.
Both of the above are water cooled!
If not that what the F**K.
Thanks Chris!
PS. Norris design was running on stock tires not drag slicks. makes a diffrence as they get much better grip off the mark! ND is also at stock (ish) weight and can go on to 200+mph! not the most optimum gearing for drag racing now is it!

Racing Format? Well I would be satisified with an open race track or road course challenge between the two, both seem to be tuned more for this. I also wonder if the Turbo Trix EVO is tuned just for the drag strip, does it have a lot of money in the suspension and braking departments too, I know the Turbo Trix EVO can handle (it's still an EVO which equals great handling) but is it on par with the Sparco, XS Engineering, and Vishnu EVO in all around performance?
Who cares about an internet joust on which tuner is faster. The facts are coming out, there are a lot of serious Evo's getting sorted out. I will be anxious to see how things sort out in the next Evo orgy. That way we can have Sparco, Vishnu, RRE, Buschur (rre suspension), XS Engineering, and anyone else who wants to enter. I want to see a SCC mag time attack challenge for only Evos. Have about 12, take the shop sponsored vehicles first, then take some heavy duty privateer vehicles. Maybe those p*ssys from the UK will come over
All of these vehicles have had small issues here and there that seem to be getting the kinks out.
2 Classes: Limited and Unlimited
Limited: Stock calipers, Stock displacement engine, minimum 3K LB weight
Unlimited: Anything goes
Do a 0-60, 0-100, 1/4 Mile and Road Course time
Chunington, last I heard it had WRC calipers with titanium innards and Carbon rotors.
And I don't know what Norris Designs Evo you guys are looking at, but it has had A LOT of weight taken out. And I would imagine they run DOT legal R-compounds on the ND car. And just for references, the tires the TT evo are DOT legal and not slicks.

I'll speak for Shiv here
lets go play! Sparco and we need Robi in the Busher car as well. This is how we all learn and get better so no one should be excluded. Should be an official representitive of a tuner to keep the numbers reasonable and the event focused. It will never happen but we can all dream...
