Have you changed tires from stock yet? R-rated tires made a huge difference in the handling characteristics of my OZ with no other changes. Good luck.

 

Jason, yeah I put Motegi MR12 rims with Falken Azenis tires (Z rated 200 treadwear street slicks). Finally got some pics I'll put in my registry. Trying them out at the autocross next weekend, and I'll post pics of it then.

hey guys here are some pics of my lancer auto-xing. i am running in the stock class so i have no mods as you can tell from the lean of the car. I am saving to get kumho victoracer's which will help me alot. out of the people in the stock class that i run with that still use street tires i beat them by a half second.

He's running all stock though, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. You've got a beefier setup.

Evolutionm all the way ghostrider yeah they are the 3 color stickers. the only thing i don't like when i am racing is that the seats don't have enough side support so i move alot in the seat. hopefully i will be getting a 4-point harness for christams so that will help.

I wouldn't worry about lean with Progress Springs... That will reduce lean. That's my next upgrade when I get the money

BTW, those are sweet pics. Maybe some time I'll make my way up to Las Vegas for a race! And until you get around to putting in race harnesses, pull the seatbelt fast before buckling it to activate the lock. I tried it and it helps. Man I miss the Trans Am seats, they had sides that held me in like a box!
