Stohlman Mitsu, McLean, VA
Just reporting on the above dealership -- I had a deposit down and wound up buying another car. I tried to sell the deposit at my cost to someone here who could buy the car, but got no takers (surprising, since there are 20+ people on Stohlman's list, all of whom have deposits, many of whom will have to wait. 3 of the first 5 had already signed the paperwork to buy their cars).
Anyway, I was worried that getting my deposit back would be a hassle, but it definitely wasn't. They didn't even lay the hard sell on me -- just charged it back to my credit card, no worries.
All that and guaranteed MSRP for the car even a year ago when I put down the deposit.
So, it seems like a good place. A few years down the road I can imagine picking up an evo from them.

Hey Donkeymaster...I got one of the yellow ones from the first shipment at Stohlman on Saturday, and I wasn't even on the waitlist. I was lucky enough to get there at the right time on Sat afternoon, 'cause several other buyers showed and wanted MY car
....Stohlman was great to work with...they're were all very friendly and did not show the typical arrogance of dealers with a hot car...
Of the DC area, I think they'll have the highest volume of Evo's since there first shipment was of 5 units....other dealers only get 1-2 cars.
Rev on!

I was a walk-in buyer of an Apex Silver Evo at Stohlman today. It seems the car had been reserved for somebody, but he decided he really wanted a sunroof. Price was MSRP.
They were very courteous and easy to deal with, and didn't unduly pressure me into any additional purchases like extended warranty or roadside assistance.
So if you're in the area and actively looking, give Freddie a call at Stohlman.

They seem like a pretty good group of guys over there, and they have been very low pressure. Enjoy the car!
I've been looking around the Woodbridge area for one at MSRP, so far I only have seen one in the red I want, but they wanted something like $4000 over.
I haven't seen any Evo's around here yet either.. if I see any of you, don't be alarmed by a black 1G talon honking like mad

. I'll call them and confirm where I am cause if I am then I'll be getting an Evo before the timeframe they told me.
