i found that many applications of penetrating fluid
over several days
worked great

learned this the hard way...of course...

years ago, when Alamo installed a stainless exh manifold,
they gave the fluid just a few minutes and
then put a wrench thru the radiator...
a few minutes later the damn thing twisted off...

sorry to hear that Danny
is there anything left to grab onto? 1/4in or so? Snap-on makes a great puller. I borrowed it from Joey, don't waste your time w/anything else. The world is in a sad state when 'I' know anything about wrenching
I had several pop on their own, because no mechanic had ever replaced them with all the on-offs, torquing etc Its recommended each time or so..
its a great time to put pretty stainless studs on there
TxEvo8 has some he's waiting to put on...if Kevin doesn't have em,
you could twist his arm, i bet

Careful with that one. Some of the studs actually go into the oil return cavity from the head to block and the walls there are not very thick.... Avoid drilling the stud at all cost. As kelly said is there anything to grab onto??? Spray it with some good penetration oil and try to work it out.

some people get to watch pretty birds feed in their backyard...
I'm watching my resident hawk sitting atop my 'bird feeder' (new definition for that)
attacking birds and masacre'n mice (about one every five min) from the roof of the bird feeder

storms last night???
I went back to sleep several times thinking I may wake up at any time w/a tree in bed w/me
