my parking garage solution

i used this long time ago. forgot to post. idea came from my hospital/malls. it's nice you can really see your car. i hope i can find a bigger one.

Hmm... I just put a 2x6 on the ground, and then traced the outline so I know where to put it back if I move it.

I just hang a tennis ball on a string from the ceiling to where it touches the windshield.

The issue with these is that they don't stop the car in case you're being less than careful.

Put a piece of wood and that stops the car in case you're coming in a bit hot or your wife's driving and doesn't know your system.

i just line my side mirror up with my door and that seems to work pretty good for me

Hmm. Not a bad idea. You could, I suppose, even affix it down with a dab of liquid nails at each end to keep it from sliding.
