Seeing as you have a nine Danny, I would go with the FP4 cams. Piece of mind makes up for a lot sometimes its not always power.

the FP and the kelford cams are both identical, the only difference being the shape of the lobes. and as such, if your afraid of the kelfords breaking, i wouldn't be buying FP.

FP4R's for sure. They've never snapped and their low/mid range can't be beat.

I personally have the 4R's in my IX whereas my friend as the Kelford 272's in his IX; he made 2whp peak more than me when we were similarly modded but I spooled 600 rpm quicker and held more power in the upper RPM's.

FPs cams are made by COMP, comp hasnt had a report of a cam broken yet.

i believe the hydraulic intensity is different on the FPs, meaning valves open faster and stay open longer, better for mid RPM and the kelfords are better for higher.. i may have that backwords tho.
kevin may be able to clarify

i like my fp4r cams.

no, i'm saying the new core kelfords are the same as the FP. so if no FP cams have broken, then the kelfords wont break either

He is talking about is broken S2s!

Kelford and GSC switched their cores over to the same Comp Core FP uses, so feel free to choose which ones you want..... I personally really like the charateristics of the Kelfords, but the FP 4Rs are going to act VERY similar to the Kelford 272s so I would take which ever one you get a better deal on.

I dont recommend the GSC cams because I think the way they have treated people, and the denial they have had over their broken cams is TERRIBLE and of poor taste. They dont even admit there is a problem, they just changed cores to follow the trend....

Why don't you spend the money on upgrading your turbo? Seems like it would be around the same cost...
