I was looking to get rid of mine also. I was telling my gf that I did not care to get compliments from High Schoolers on my car and that being 35 I needed a more grown up car. So I started looking at A4's.
I was then driving south on 75 near Allen/Plano when a white EVO 8 pulled next to me. We both floored it except it seemed as if I was going in reverse compared to him. I am pretty sure he was shooting flames out of his exhaust. I am now back into it and ready to move on from bolt-ons to internals for some serious power. I am addicted all over again. I can only imagine what that kind of power feels like.

I think we need to start a support group.

Hi, my name is Carlos, I am 35 and I drive an EVO.

LOL!

This is the kind of car that if you sell it, you will regret it.

Unless you get something even more insane that it makes you forget about the Evo.

Imo, it is boost that what makes people hard to walk away from. And top of that the EVO fits on everythings for that. Power, decent $, looks( not everyone agree tho),and less risk than most of other vehicle. Just my two cents...
