Feeler: Robis Spec in Dallas

ALSO SEEN IN THE SOUTH FORUM

Dates are tentative and this is thread is to gauge public interest.

We all want the ultimate handling car, and here is your chance. The suspension guru himself, Robi of Robi Spec is looking to visit Dallas, should there be enough interest. For those that were wondering what parts and services are provided by Robi Spec, visit: http://www.robispec.com/

Currently, the dates being looked at are the last week of January OR the first week of February.

Tuning master KevinD of Evolution Dynamics in Lewisville would be hosting Robi Spec. For directions and services, visit:http://www.evodynamics.com/

So show your interest and sign up, you will not be disappointed!

BTW, the line starts behind me!!!

He can setup your alignment, corner-balance your coilovers, etc.

Depending on his prices I might be interested in an alignment.

here is a quote from Murf: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/mo...evo-9-a-3.html

"I skipped through a lot of the thread and will give you my answer baised on my exp. of having my car driven on a track by Robi (robispec). Also riding in my buddies 9 rs on the track and at the virginia city hill climb.
You can make more than enough power on what you want to put in your car. The best thing to make USE of that is a good suspension setup with a good alignment. I was SHOWN that by Robi in my car at a Redline time attack event..my gift for helping him out that weekend.
Now my friend in his 9 using Robispec clubsports. still on stock 9 turbo but everything ported twin plate clutch and e-85 setup..that guys car is a BRUTAL car to be in around the track. Before suspension and proper tire/weel combo he was quick..he dropped 5 seconds buy those changes and then got faster and faster. The track ref. was going to kick him off because he was "going to fast on a pratice day" Fast forward to the Ferrari hill climb in Virgina city..His first time out he placed 3rd in his class..his class was packed with F430 sucddiear-whatevers the real limited ones, an ultima gtr, a crazy porsche..a cracy F360 challenge all tuned for raceing..Its in the suspension is the point..work on that first, and breaks."

Too rich for my blood considering I already have his autocross spec alignment on my car. He knows what he is doing when it comes to setting up these cars so I definitely recommend anyone rolling around on the stock alignment to give him a thought.
