Thats the reason I got the truck.....

That sucks Chris, atleast your ok.

As for the S2000 comments getting thrown around......right before I got rid of my S2000, they came out with the CR.....man if you can find one of those, that would be awesome. KraftWerks makes a killer supercharger for the S2000.

April was a bad month for my car club back in MN (http://www.mitsustyle.com/forums/index.php). Two crashed VIII's, my crashed IX, a blown up Evo III engine, a snapped X cam cap, and another X that spit a rod threw the block.

Sorry to hear that man! I am still waiting on mine from the body shop. It ended up being over 5K in damage with some slight uni-body damage too.

At least you came out of there in good health.

The initial estimate from State Farm came back at $8,340, but they're arguing about a few of the things so I will need to fight with them a bit. The body shop is pushing them too so it shouldn't be a problem. All said and done I expect the final repairs to be right around $10k. The body shop said they have not found any serious damage yet and besides for sheet metal and paint the car is in really good shape considering.

I'm also a bit peeved my agent, or anyone at State Farm for that matter, hasn't contacted me today. The body shop has been in constant contact with me but I'm the one reaching out to my insurance company.

A few years ago I had a claim with GEICO. Two weeks after I brought my car in, the repair place called and asked if the insurance company was planning on sending an adjuster! All said it was 22 days after the accident before the adjuster made it out to look at the vehicle. Needless to say I told the gecko where to stuff it when it came time to renew.

So did the police bother to file a report noting the other person at fault?

Wow; at least SF got an adjuster out right away this morning. I'm still waiting for the police report, I was given a website and a case # and was told to check everyday and just watch for it to become available. If the report doesn't show the other driver being 100% at fault then I will be making some calls.

Police officers are just slow. It took them a little more than a week to get the police report done before my sister could get it when she got T-boned. So don't expect it any time soon. If by some miracle they do get it done sooner, I'll be impressed, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

So...the police dept is trying to charge me $6 for the accident report. They can go **** themselves. Public servants what? If my insurance needs it they can go right ahead and pay the $6 for it.
