abs not working

abs not working

my friend slid his evo into a curb and the abs is now not working at all. He already replaced abs sensor with no luck. anyone have any ideas what the problem is?

There are sensors at each wheel and a master computer. Did he replace just one sensor or all? I would check the connections first, its possible that one of the sensors just poped out of place on the caliper.

its an evo ix ssl and I already checked the fuse. I' am going to take a look again at the connections on each wheel and see if its well connected.

check the abs pump. you can jump it with paper clips or wires, disconnect a hose from it, and make sure its shooting fluid.

I'd check all four corners. You can check the functionality of each sensor with a multimeter. There should be a set impedance value for the Evo (sorry, I don't know it).

However, given a curb preceded the problem, I'd take a closer look at how the sensor lines up with the "sensor ring."
