All I'm trying to say is a little patience goes a long way. You said you called before you drove out there and were told the parts weren't perfect, ie ready. But you drove out anyways? Can't blame them for you taking the time out of your day to drive out there.
Its a new product and it didn't work out the first time. I highly doubt they are charging you for double the materials or labor to re-do the work. Deadlines are deadlines but sometimes things don't work out. It sounds like they are doing their best to address the issue as quickly as possible. They didn't want to give you the parts in their current state... that says a lot to me about taking pride in their work.

I think everyone is misunderstanding my point. I didn't want it to come down to a rush job, so I let him have the parts for 3-4 days longer than needed. In the end, he rushed. That is all I am saying. There is no need to rush, just tell someone you need more time. It usually takes longer to do something right after you F it up than to just take the time to do it right the first time. Rushing just causes more delays.

Hmm, we will see how he does on a candy when I do my track wheels, I am expecting good results as I have seen some of the candies he has done on valve covers. I know those were powders he has worked with before though.
I don't know, I still think he is doing the right thing trying to make it right. There are other people in the local community that in the past have not always delivered what they promised, but people haven't spoken up , so I commend you for doing so, but I still think before you post a rant you would allow them to fix the issue. I thought your Cobb experience would have shown you that most locals will do all they can to make the customer happy.

There is nothing wrong at all about posting up a truthful review that will be updated as progress is made. He is allowing them to correct the issue but is expressing frustration in their mismanagement of time. The internet nutswinging gets old, it's nice to see someone finally speak the truth rather than the typical:
OMG +1
so-and-so FTW!
etc.
