It seems the common theme nowadays is to wait until the block naturally aspirates through bypass ducts before building, it makes sense, since it is way more inexpensive that way...

Not anytime soon. It's about 8 grand to do so. Calvin has it tuned very conservatively, I'm not sweating it. Only 26 lbs of boost.

I didn't mean it that way, I'm certain that you will be safe at that power level for many years to come, especially since you've already taken care of the SST. It must be a fun car!

For reference, I had my evo 8 weighed at the SCCA autocross divisionals -- and it weighed in at 3085 Lbs.

Damn. I was watching to see wat the high water mark on the stock internals is. I'm getting ready to pop DW1300s in and get tuned on E85.
