so... I spent about 2 hours at my kia/mitsu dealership... Soon to be Kia ONLY (which blows, even though I dont have much crap left for warranty -LOL- its nice to have a MUT near your). The GM is a friend of mine, known him since he started being a sales guy at the dealership (purchased my evo from him). Well... what were we talking about hmmmmm.

Oh I remember. This thing.

Just a signature away, 82k out the door. 40k down rest financed @ 19.3% for 60 months. So a little over 1k a month...

So did i sign the paper? Nope... A few personal reasons and a few theirs.... Mine: APR a bit too high, Any idea how much I spent on my EVO since I got her (LOL), I just got done with my evo which I need to enjoy the hell out of and I spent a lot of money investing in crap that I need to see return on before purchasing anything.

Their reason: they want a co-signer.

I guess it is not the time to pull the trigger on one... Where is my damn backburner at?

I'm sorry, 19.3%? are you kidding me?
You have 40k to put down... but you warrant 19.3%? I'm confused.

Theres gotta be tons of banks that'll give you sub 5% when you're putting 50% down

My jaw did drop when they told me the apr... I was told its because of my credit history not being "long enough" and not having a co-signer. It was an impulsive thing that I have done and was more for ****s and giggles/semi-serious thing.

19%? They must didnt want to sell it. If you have good credit You should look for CU around your area. My CU was very very easy, gave me 4% and you could get lower if you do short term.

So after talking to a few of you in NTEC and bouncing on a few threads it is absolutley depressing that there is not a weekly car meet of some sort in North Texas. What a effing shame. Virginia has laws that are way way stricter for ricers and there is a meet every Firday night when the weather isn't icy or rainy. I have a dream to get with business - Chik-Fil-A, In and Out, Sonic and see if they might be willing to host a Car Meet on a Friday to seee how it goes.

The effects of hosting a car meet would be:
Increase revenue and a better customer base.

What business wouldn't want to see a boom in sales and revenue intake? Especially in this economy.

Yeah, there will be a lot of nay sayers. I say to them: Stay the **** Home then. Noone is forcing you to come out and be social.

Group regulation rules:
1. No burn outs
2. No street racing
3. No flagrent engine reving just to hear your loud exhaust

I think there are lots of smaller meets... the larger meets get overrun with assclowns.

I actually love that color. If it was a little darker kinda like the GG evo x I would love it even more. Black is overrated for any and every car and red is just whatever, I dont even find the need to talk about the other colors... Also I have a WW so I gotta change it up a bit.

I do have over 700 credit but the credit history is only 2-3 years and I never had a payment over 700 bucks a month (rent) and the gtr would be 1k a month.

I should look for a local credit union. They do a lot better rates when it comes to mortgage/payments but the truth is that I am not 100% committed into purchasing one just yet. I am already planing on getting a 2012 around August. I just saw the price, I saw the miles and it was a "good buy" so I just wanted to check into it and see if it was something that I should be interested in. I have made some investments and spent the cash I have on them instead of the GTR this past month so till I see the return, logically and economically speaking it will not be advised for me to pull the trigger on one just yet.

Whenever it happens, I already have contacted AAM Competition for TBE, intake and injectors and gotten a price quote from them (giving me a great discount too). So the day I "order" my GTR I will also order those parts and drive the gtr straight from the dealer in Fayetteville, AR to Cobb Tuning @ Plano lol.

2~3 yrs is really short for credit history. I will to get a loan untill you are %100 ready, otherwise you will hurt your credit to applying for loan. Especially these days...time are tough....

AAM is great company in my shop list when i was crazy about Z, also there are couple nissan vendors that i do really trust, if you need to know shoot me a pm anytime.

Organize it and I'm sure people will come!

Here's what NTEC currently has:
-First Thursday (except this month)
-2nd Saturday
-3rd Tuesday
-last Saturday
plus lots of other random informal meets (Superbowl party, Leap Year - Twisted Root, etc.)
Also first Saturday if you count Cars & Coffee

Good point Kracka. There are already lost of opportunities to hang out with other car people.

There used to be a weekly RiceKiller meet. It was lots if fun but got way out of hand really fast. Tons of people would show up with all different types of vehicles. But, then it turned rice (go figure). Then the owner of the shopping center meeting place came one night. She was so amazed by the number of cars that she shut it down.

It took a ton of time and effort to organize RiceKiller. Just look at how much work/people it takes to run Cars & Coffee. But if you want to spend the time and effort to organize a new weekly event, go for it.
