Pointless NTEC chat thread
If you're going to buy one, buy one with a large following that can help you with issues you have. I'd recommend you buy one that's rare-ish too.
E30, E30 M3, E36 M3, E34 M5 (last of the hand built M5's), E39 M5
older VWs (not bugs)
late 70's, early 80's 911's
All cars you can wrench on yourself... Not lots of electronics to go bad (well maybe on the E39 M5)... parts are available (sometimes pricey) -- and they all have a style that most modern cars don't have. Especially not for < $20k.

Currently in Business and Public Law class and OMG... I want to stab myself in the throat. This **** is dry.... Oh well thats why there are Official WW EVO X Threads to keep me entertained
Well after 6 months off of work, I am finally changing my slacker status back to working status! A bit of a change of pace, trading/securities software but the money all spends the same! First permanent position I have been able to get since 2007. As it always happens, I have had to turn down jobs so far after accepting...funny how that works. I have no idea what being off of work with pay means anymore, it is going to feel so weird! I have missed over 7-12 weeks of work due to contracting over the last 5 years...you will not be missed! My holidays will follow the NYSE/NASDAQ closures, so nearly 10 a year! Nice fat salary to boot!
