It seems just like a long string of bad luck to me. I haven't had a ticket of any kind other than parking in the past 2 years.

I think the answer to your problems is go straight for a built motor and 600+hp. I've found that now that my car can destroy pretty much anything on the road, I have no desire to speed. Also knowing how much it costs if something breaks helps me keep the speed down too.

It's possible that bad luck had a hand in it. But it depends how you look at it. I have had brief moments a time or two when I wound it up to 120, no cop in sight. 85 in a 70 is a far more preferable ticket.

Also, it's funny...first ticket was 35 in a 20; second one was for 67 in a 45 (merging onto the freeway where the limit would have been 65); and this last one was for 85 in a 70.

Next I'll have to go out west and get one for 100 in an 85, I guess. After that, on to Germany.

That seems to be the truth 100%. Seems like when you get something a lil stronger than your typical all motor v4 or v6 you get the need for speed rush (I think its call dopemene). But when you're in something ridiculous past what your car was initially, the need to speed is kinda dead.
