If you guys do it right, not everybody needs to buy 2 cans each and save quite a bit of money.
That's a really good point.

2 C0002610 DIAQUEEN SSTF-1 $106.90 $213.8
1 2513A040 $103.29 $103.29

That's from mitsubishiparts.net. There's a free shipping coupon code here on evom which saved me $38 in shipping charges. The coupon code expires on the 20th. This is the cheapest I've ever seen.

I would go ahead and do it subi, at least it will be a cheap fix than replacing it. I replaced my OEM one when the OEM one got crushed by my fog light unit. I have the ams one, holds 1/2 quart more than the OEM plus has a big *** fan in front of it. I wanted to see if it actually works and launched the car did a 4/5k rpm sprint run through curves and never got a slow down message. I love the thing.

How is your fan wired? I was going to mount a switch on the dash. How does it work on the AMS cooler????

Its hardwired into the fuse box so its turned on/off when you turn the car on/off. Dont bother with a switch if you ask me, try to hardwire it to your ignition (its the light green colored wired under the steering wheel and goes all the way into the fusebox). With the help of a buddy I hardwired my passport to it and fit the mute button on the far left button space beside the AWC control, it looks awesome haha. If you wanna go with the switch, I would fit that on the left side where the ASC button is at, there is an empty spot there.

Not sure I want it running constantly. It would be nice to tie it into the radiator fan so it's temperature dependent. I think I'll just use a switch so I can turn it on after a lap/run. I was planning on using the blank near the asc button.

That would work perfect especially if you can hook up a sensor to the SST to get a reading for the temp and turn it on if you see it getting hot.

Vorshlag's DIY is certainly not half assing it. Depending on the circumstances, it might be all the Dr ordered. From what I understand they had no overheating issues after they added a fan. The AMS or SSP kit would just be overkill in that case.
