Lightbulb SST fluid/filter

I just got a great price on the diaqueen and filter for my SST. $317 with free shipping from mitsubishiparts.net! I used the free shipping promo (good untill 10/22 I think) which saved me $38.

If there are any other local guys who need to do a fluid and filter change I'd love to have a mini meet and we can help each other out. This will be my first time changing the SST fluids but it looks straight forward. I just thought I'd share the great deal and put a feeler out for a meet.

Good lord, I am glad I don't have to pay that for fluids, I didn't realize it was that high! I just did ALL fluids on my GSR for ~$100.

yep the sst fluid + filter is 350-400 lol. I do sst fluid every 10k (just had mine done along with sst cooler fluid too). Expensive compared to gsr but I love it plus its good practice till the gtr lol.

10k is probably overkill on the fluid. It's the filter that's the issue - it'll gunk up in 6k miles or so. Transmission shifts like butter with a new filter in it.

I'm nearing 10k so I thought I'd do the first change. After that I'll probably go to the recommended interval. Next will be the diff and transfer case.

I would be down for a filter change, I'm only at 8k though. And haven't forgot about you Tom, been busy with school and work, still trying to find the correct way to bypass it.

I have about 1 1/2 quarts left from my fluid change 2 weeks ago. Let me know if you guys need a litle bit of extra fluid to top off.
If you guys do it right, not everybody needs to buy 2 cans each and save quite a bit of money.
