finally pulled the trigger and bought an Evo

Hello, all.

I grew tired of my wife's 2010 Audi A3 Quattro which came with a sequence of nuisances since I bought it. Told my wife the next time it sneezes I'm trading it in for an Evo, the car I originally wanted to buy when I got the Audi. Well it sneezed and 2 days later I traded it in for a new 2011 MR. Technically, it's the wife's car but I'm driving it today and I'm loving it so far.

When it comes to quality and value I've had good luck with Japanese and American cars. I hope this continues with the Evo. The Audi was my 1st and last European car.

1) Change the fuel pump relay immediately to a green or blue version.

2) Put a zip tie on the Fuel Pressure Regulator Hose where it connects to the front passenger side of the intake manifold

3) Cobb AccessPort for a tune if you decide to do nothing else to the car and just want to awaken the Evo to what it should be

The wife was not really on board with the trade in. Going out and hanging out with a bunch of cars guys this soon will be a bit over the top. Maybe next month if I'm not working.

Hope you left kleenex on the seat when you traded it in and said bless you as you left. Congrats on your new purchase.

a good alternative to the accessport is our tune. Ours offers the same capabilities, without requiring you to buy any hardware at all (saves you 600 right there).

Finished breaking it in. Actually already have 900 miles on it . So been getting on it more. Its ability to put power down is phenomenal. No wonder these STIEvo's are such potent autocross cars. There are some fit and finish issues that I'd fix if they bothered me more. I'm also surprised a manufacturer would sell a car so loud and harsh, but I dig that.
