New Dallas Evo X guy here.......

This is my first evo but i have owned several turbo cars and v8's. Bought this car locally in Mesquite, just outside of Dallas. Had 15k price was 29,9XX. Anyone recognize it? I talked to the original owner he said he was 64 and claimed it dynoed at 335awhp. It rolls pretty good in the first few gears.

Mods Are as follows from what i know

Car came factory with sight and sound package which is a $2100 option.

AMS Intercooler
Perrin Exhaust (Not sure if its a complete but atleast its catback.)

Several Sway Bars,Front Strut Bar
Cobb Intake

So welcome! GIve me some tips and advice please. Also Does anyone know about how much these parts cost?

Congrats, I saw that car for sale online but didn't get a chance to look at it. Sounds like you got some nice parts with it. Did you pay the full asking price?

Was no choice in my opinion since the retail was around 31,5. It was a quick decision but with the mods I just felt I would end up spending more money for the similair mods again.

Will do, I just joined yesterday and noticed that section. I believe the car was tuned in Plano.

And good mix of parts/mods. Not cheap ebay crap there. Previous owner had a clue.

Tips? Yeah, don't de-mod it.

Well, retail is retail. I think some dealers are selling NEW 2011 GSR's for around 31-32K.

When you pick one up lmk. Best they would do for me was 25k for my trade and 32.4 on a new base w/out s+s package. For example here's a 10 with 9k mileage…

I got 26.5 for my trade and I felt better off but I'm happy guess that's all that counts.

I'm going to move this thread to the NTEC section since it doesn't belong in Evo X General and it'll get more attention in NTEC than it will EvoM Newbies

Not saying you got a bad deal at all, just curious to see if they would've moved much since I'm in the market too. The dealer I was talking about with the 2011's is all the way out in SoCal. Congrats again!

Thanks, prob just depends on inventory. Doesn't seem like there are very many 11s left, even the used market is scarce right now. If I hadn't had a trade I def would of been more open to doing a brand new but I didn't wanna be at a big loss from the deal.

I'm hoping the original owner still has the stock parts

Tips & advice: Great setup, leave it how it is! The only thing I'd consider doing is verifying it it indeed a turboback exhaust and adding some intercooler pipes. I added the prices of the mods in bold above to help give you an idea.

I hope he doesn't, it would be a shame to see that nice basic setup dismantled.

Ugh, yeah Honestly, the AP is worthless to him right now, it's unsellable since it's married to your ECU.
