We will be asking for volunteers for both events and begin marketing MOD shortly

As in previous years MOD 2012 will be located in the parking lot directly to the West of Don Herring Mitsubishi Irving, 3125 W Airport Fwy, Irving TX 75062.

Here's an overview schedule of activities for MOD 2012 this Saturday, June 2nd:

9:00 am - Gates open
9:00am - 11:00am - Show 'N Shine registration/parking, This is a family friendly event and since there will be kiddos running around we need everyone parked by the 11 AM start time.
11:00am - 2:00pm - Show 'N Shine voting
3:00pm - 3:30pm - Awards Presentation

All Show 'N Shine registered participants will receive an event t-shirt shown below.

Here's some additional information that will help orient you to how the event is organized. The entrance is at the NTB store on the Hwy183 north frontage road. There will be volunteers there to direct you to the appropriate area of the parking lot for your vehicle. We will have folks grouped together in the following classes: EVO, RalliArt, Lancer, 3000GT, DSM, 3G, 4G, Classic (99-older) and Modern (2000-newer).

After you park there will be signs that direct you to the Show 'N Shine registration table under the big white tent where you will be able to pick up your official MOD 2012 t-shirt and the number to place on your car windshield for voting as well as your Show 'N Shine ballot. Only those that are registered participants of the Show 'N Shine competition will be given a voting ballot.

We will have free hot dogs, chips, soft drinks and water and as in previous years there will also be BBQ for sale. You are more than welcome to bring a cooler with snacks of your own as well. There will be a bounce house for the kids. 10X10 pop ups are allowed, but will need to be secured, so as not to damage any of the cars in the show. There will be a DJ, however, if you choose to listen to your own radio, please be respectful of the folks around you. I also ask that you respect the safety of the people and children around you, no burnouts or speeding will be tolerated.

We will wrap up the voting for the Show n Shine around 2 o'clock and announce the winners between 3-3:30. There will be a First, Second and Third place prize as well as Oldest Mitsubishi in Show, Farthest Traveled and we are adding an award this year, the Kids Choice Award.

Prizes will be raffled off through out the day. To enter the Raffle just donate 2 can food items benefiting the North Texas Food Bank and you will be entered to win one of the following: Rangers Tickets, Day of Driving at MotorSport Ranch, or an iPad.

Of course, we'll also have all the new Mitsubishi vehicles available for test drives. Folks from eVgo will be on hand to show their network of electric vehicle recharging stations being installed around Texas. We look forward to seeing everyone and seeing how owners have added to their Mitsubishi experience!
