Or, order tires from Tirerack tonight and wait a few extra days to get them mounted at Cobb/EvoD.

New set of Sumitomo HTR Z III tires are ordered. I like the Hankook Ventus V12 Evos, but they're too similar to the Z III's to warrant a large premium in price.

Locally, NTB generally stocks them, but if they don't have a set mine will be in tomorrow so if you'd like to get them mounted/balanced on your car I'm fine with that as long as you order another set for me (and give me the invoice for proof). PM me if you're intersted and we can work something out.

Sounds good, the RE760's are very good tires (probably better to be honest).

Just an FYI... Check the Sumo tires and see where they are made. Many of their tires are made in China. Just read the side of the tire to make sure.

Sumitomo and Sumo are not the same brands.

Sumitomo tires are made in Japan - I would never ever ever ever install or recommend Chinese tires.

Yeah I guessed, I wouldn't think the high end performance ones would be made in China but Mercedes was using Sumo tires on some models and they have issues with China made tires. Needless to say... China made = Garbage

When I typed SUMO I meant SUMITOMO and most of their passenger tires are made in China.

This is not true. Only their cheapest low-end all-season tire is made in China, everything above that is made in either Japan or Thailand. All their summer tires are made in Japan though.
