two questions:
i need to find a shop that can do great paint work without costing a nut. as some of you know, two weeks before shipping my car a german hit it. his gay *** insurance company is only willing to pay a percentage of the cost to repair it, because according to them, i was parked too far into the curve of the street. as if it were up to them to figure it out. bastards. i need to get the fender and front bumper repainted, maybe even the hood. trade secret is too expensive for this.
i need to find a shop to align the car once i install my coilovers. i tried getting ahold of cobb but no one is answering the phones right now. i dont want to pay an arm and a leg for this either. i dont mind driving a good distance to get good work done. i live in euless, but ask anyone who has gotten to know me, blowing away 40 miles in one sitting just to go check something out doesnt bother me.

pretty much covers this for alignments:
Cobb or
PTP, now Tx Track Works
I believe the jury is still out on Paint and Body, although
Trade Secret consistently supports
NTEC
when asked, can't fault them there
Trade Secret body shop. They have done lots of Evos in the community. They support NTEC big time.
Cobb has a top of the line alignment machine. I think they charge 99 bucks but call to verify. Are you calling the right number 214-291-3020

These guys sponsor DallasImports and when I talked to them they seemed like just the shop you're looking for (decent work at a decent price): https://www.facebook.com/pages/Steve...24712660885128
My buddy works at body shop. Did my hood and trunk, i can show you how they did.
For align... Mitsu in lewisville. i told them recommand by evoD and they gave me discount. Cobb was around 100 bucks. Both of them did good.

Yeah, I have used a million alignment shops-- I highly recommend COBB, hell I drive about 30mls 1 way to get there. They are that good, easy to talk to, work with and if there is a question they address it, not to mention they will dial in almost anything you want ( or you car is capable of) for an alignment and stand behind it. If your going to pay 100.00 might as well spend it with someone who knows what they are doing and stand behind it all the way.

Since you're not wanting to pony up for Trade Secret, I recommend trying out Craig's Collision Center right there on the north side of 183, just west of Industrial. I've never taken my Evo there, but when I was in high school I took my 98 GMC Sierra there multiple times. They have taken care of all of my families vehicles when we get insurance work done. The results have always been pretty damn good.
But my recommendation still lies with Trade Secret. They did an amazing job on my car.
