Evo#4
Huge thanks to Jason Bell and Don Herring Jr. for hooking me up with yet another Evo!!
Yup I said another one. This is car#5 bought from Jason (love that guy). I had talked to Don and Jason about possibly trading in my Endeavor in on a used truck to tow the VIII back and forth to races. I drove up to Irving after work today to run some numbers and see what they had on the lot and ended up leaving with a black 2013 base model GSR.
The wife said I could buy whatever I wanted as long as I stayed in my budget. I explained the wife's terms to Jason and he left for a few minutes and then asked me to walk outside with him to see my new ride (I was thinking a truck).
He clicked the keys and the lights lit up on the black X. I laughed, looked over at Jason to see if he was serious, thought about it for a whole 5 seconds and told him let's do it!!!
So now I have the X for daily driving which will stay 100% stock and the VIII will stay a dedicated track/autox car. I'll borrow my dad's truck to tow the race car when needed. It's great to be back in a X as I really missed driving my old X daily. So much fun!!!
Again, huge thanks and gratitude to everyone up at Don Herring Mitsu in Irving.

So great to hear about your NEWEST baby!
I'm at a loss to think of ANY other car i'd prefer to drive, of course i'm speaking 8s and 9s
There's NO dispute over the best dealer, or friend of NTEC,
Am i right?!!

I can't take credit for the photo, I stole it off of Don's website LOL.
You are absolutely right. I don't buy cars from anyone but Jason and Don. Not only because they are awesome to my familiy and I, but also what Don does for NTEC.
I just couldn't drive the SUV anymore. It had no fun factor and driving 100 miles a day I just couldn't take it anymore. Everyday I hated my 2hrs spent on the road everyday and I had to have something fun to dive. No better fun factor than a Evo. It just made perfect sense. 4 doors for the family, and AWD for the bad weather.
This car will stay stock!!! I promise. It will get the needed lowering springs, wheels, tires, window tint, a AMS shift knob and that's about it. I just want to enjoy it for what it is with a warranty since I have never gone that route and I have the race car to mod and do whatever I want to do.
I may take it to a autox but it wont see the track. I have the track **** for that!!
