tri-state meet
2 of the 4 meets I've been to have been on LI. I don't care whether it's in NJ or LI because those are basically the only places I spend my time...but I doubt I'll have my Lancer, I can't come the 18th (like I told Next last night) and it's really hard for me to know whether I can make it unless I know in advance. Anyway, I'm definitely interested, but we shall see.
I've only met a few of you mutants, so a few more would be nice.

If your interested in alley pond park, talk to the guys at Evo-NY (www.evo-ny..com) they frequently have their meets there and have gotten pretty good at putting it together. Plus their a bunch of really nice guys.. Queens is a bit of a hike for me, but alley pond park is REALLY nice, the parking is somewhat limited on a nice day it can fill up quickly so you might want to give other locations some thought. If it were somewhere near the nassau/suffolk border, it would be something I'd be able to attend on a regular basis.

I'd like to see more stuff on the Island if I had the time to participate... Anyone who knows me knows I'm pretty elusive and don't come out often.

How could you possibly come out. You are too busy trying to reach 5000 posts before Christmas! lol (sorry Jack, I could not resist)
I was the guy who had the sweet set up with 8 acres on DPA which woud have been great for a meet. Unfortunatly it was sold to developers last week and I no longer have access to it.
We should do it on a Sunday morning at the OBI parking lot on Ocean Parkway. There are a lot of guys hanging out with some very sick cars. Crazy street racing to "watch" off course. The cops lay off in the AM. We could head to a Diner after that for a civilized sit down breakfast.
Come on Long Islander! Chime in to do this in our neck of the woods for a change! As I write this I am brewing a batch of some really great beer. Samples will be available if this meet actually happens.

yeah I thought I would have to pay since I only have 1000 miles thats ok the rest are free. All 2005 get free service. I received a letter from mitsu corp that had all the info about the free service. As for the lifetime oil changes the dealership messed up and put that in the bill so my sales person let me have it.
ahh lucky.. i got a 03 GSR and the dealer said they use 2 give it but it was costing them too much money so no more oil changes... where did you buy yours?
