I might be able to make it, granted I only have an Ls, but I don't know where Jillians is either.

 

jillians is off of route 110 which is easily accessiable from the LIE.. theres an exit from the LIE that gets off right about route 110. if you take the LIE east, exit 48 i beleive, i'll get it exact for u guys next time. u take whichever it says 110 south and take it south.. about 2-3 miles down route110 jillians is in a huge shopping center will be on the left hand side..
when getting close to the meet i'll post directions and etc

Its called Airport Plaza, get directions to Republic Airport..

This is exactly where we all got together the beginning of the summer.. We had a nice time out and nobody really bothered anyone, but the security watched real closely and the property owners "Might" have something to say..

I don't know.. There doesn't appear to be any dedicated lancer car club, or evo car club on LI.. Which is actually OK with me.. I prefer to meet alot of different people with alot of different cars.. But there really aren't any good active car clubs on LI dedicated to the HOBBY and ENTHUSIASM for cars, I'm a little tired of hearing the "this car is better than that crap" that every club I've been involved in (and forums too) ends up having.

I do think there's a Mitsubishi car club on LI though..

Not to be critical, but its very unlikely that many people from long Island would make the journey to Jersey or even off the island on a regular basis.. Not that its very far, but thanks to traffic, expensive tolls, and very few alternate routes, it can take hours to get there.. Plus many of us DESPISE travelling for that reason.. Heck I stopped dating a really nice woman from Staten Island simply because it took over 2 hours to get there most of the time.

I'd have liked to come out to the "Northeast" get togethers at Pruven, TurboTrix, Nanuet,etc.. In theory their not very far from here until you are forced to go through the money sucking road funnels we have here. You really have to be motivated to do something to get off LI.. since a quick excursion to meet up with people usually turns into a 4 hour traffic fest..
