first of all, arent you going to suck all the dirty air coming in? wheres your air filter? second even with the ceramic coating the header is going to get pretty hot... you sure the hood can handle the heat when your header is so close to it?

 

I'm pretty sure if it is daily driven (which it prolly isn't) its gonna get a filter on it somehow. if its not daily driven, then it can exist without a filter. My buddies FC never had a filter on it, just some screen over the inlet to prevent large objects from entering
