I think shipping rates will be considerably higher no matter what. After all the parcell companies adjusted their rates for the hike in fuel prices, none of them brought them back down.

I use usps a lot of the time because i live very close to the one on McKnight road. My gf also ships stuff through her work for me for cheap, sometimes free.

Dont ever try and send an exhaust manifold through fedex....they act like you have a bomb and ask you to leave the building immediately because its considered explosive with the word exhaust in it.........I was shocked at how the lady was reacting.

Dont take this the wrong way please. Are you not from this country? Are you telling me you have never seen the brown vans delivering stuff around? There are so many delivery company's out there.

Fedex
UPS
USPS

These are the 3 main ones. There are plenty of other company's if you need something bigger sent. If you are looking for something on the super cheap you can send it thru the Bus lines i believe, Or there are carrier pigeons. lol . You are not going to find a really cheap way unfortunatly. Bye the way what are you selling?

.

i think you may have misunderstood jer. im well aware of ups, fedex, and usps. i get parts delivered frequently. i realize all are an option, but i have never had to ship anything before so i didnt know if $30 to ship a 10lb package was excessive or not.

basically i was just asking if ups was comparatively expensive. its just convenient for me to use the ups store because its a half mile away, but i would certainly use usps if i could save a significant amount of money

That was definately me, but I don't recall seeing you. I always get excited when I see other Evo's around.

As far as shipping goes, weight isn't always the problem. The dimensions of the box can have a large impact, as well as the zone it's being shipped to. USPS is probably the cheapest way to go using Priority, but tracking isn't very good and they never cover claims as far as insurance is concerned. Next time, just get some quotes from UPS.com, Fedex.com, and USPS.com. Get the detailed time and cost and fill everything out exactly. That way you'll get a better estimate. The only other tip I know of is to stay away from newspaper for packaging padding. They say the weight adds up quickly.

I've had them in both Evo's. Your gauge is fine and is doing the normal short-circuit signal. Check the wiring on your sensor and the sensor itself. There's a short somewhere. Your power harness is okay. I found a good site to get new sensors and harnesses. I'll try to find it for you.
