Anyone else interested in this? I've talked to one of the organizers, and he seemed cool. If we could get enough people, we might be able to get a discount (no idea if we could for sure).

 

This is a great course i'd recomend it too anyone who wants to get into auto-x. You will most likely not get a discount for more people, and it will fill up so if you want in you better sign up in the near future.

I got the EVO back today finally. Havn't driven it but Mike said its pretty wild. Rear wheel drive like action FTW. Now for some work in my garage and i'm almost set for the season.

Need to build a dog harness and design a helmet so it can ride shotty at races.

Isis is apparently an APBT mix. they're not sure what she's mixed with though.

picked her up from the shelter tonight.

 

Any of you guys ever drive a six puck style clutch around these parts?

I find myself considering it as a replacement.

just thinking about saving some cash?

I liked the exedy twin just fine but I'd like to try and save a few bucks this time around.

The exedy is just a tad pricey

Isnt your RS stock?

From what I can tell you dont take to a modded car real well. You basically had the best clutch for the Evo in the Twin Exedy and you didnt like the chatter

I mean it basically had stock pedal feel and great engagement with outstanding holding power. You ditched your whole car because of that clutch right.

Why dont you just stick a stocker back in it , and maybe stay off the pedal a bit so it will last longer.

Hell I mean I damn near drove my Evo into the 11's on the stock clutch and only changed it out of want , not cause I neeeded to yet. When driven right the stock clutch can actually work Ok.

I wont say that it is the best or anything like that , but people kill them then give them a bad rap.
