Hey guys. New to the forum and have always wanted an evo since they came to the US.
I am currently looking for an evo 9 to build for auto x STU class. Anyone know of anyone trying to sell one in the area? Please let me know. My wrx just isn't cutting it for me anymore and sucks as a race car.

give baierl mitsubishi a call. if they don't have one on the lot i am sure they would be more than happy to help you track one down.
looks like i will finally have some people in STU with me this year. too bad i plan on moving out of it before the end of the season.
Ok guys, need an opinion here. I'm pondering selling my 18x8.5 bronze Volks (17.5lbs) to pick up some used 18x9 light gray Weds TC005's (18.5lbs). I'm thinking that the 1/2 inch wider wheel would help the response/handling with my 255/35/18 Pirelli tires and the color would look better as well.
I'd have to sell my Volks first. I originally paid 1900 for them. I think I might be able to get 1200 for them and this guy will let the Weds go for 800. What do you think I could get for the Voks? All four are curbed. Opinions please!?

also with a wider wheel/tire your turn in will be more sluggish, but you will have extra contact patch to improve grip. just something to think about.
personally i would keep the volks since they're lighter and put something in the vicinity of a 255/35 - 255/40 on them.
or you could quick f*cking around, chop your fenders and get some 285's. that's what the big dawgs run these days.
what tire width are you currently running? if you get a wider wheel but keep the same width of tire it's not going to make a difference.

And FYI I will be renting a fender roller in the next couple of weeks....
Called them today. They don't have one on the lot but try to get one if they are able to find one. So if they ever get one, I told them to let me know. Sounds like they are not going to actively pursue it though. Anyone else got any ideas?
car
ask one of the guys that works there......The tech that works on the evos

I got a tune there and the guys were incredibly nice. If timing works out, I could possibly give you a ride there to pick up the car. My parents live close by so I go back a good bit.
