Thanks Brian! I did indeed get the wing back and it came out great.

Thanks for recommending him. First class work.

For now though I am loving the wingless look. Maybe I will put the wing back on in the Spring.

hmm so i switched the routing of the MBC to do compressor and then to WGA, instead of routing it through a T in the BOV... seems to hold boost better, and doesnt spike and hit fuel cut anymore. But my boost still comes on Slooooooooooooooow. 3rd gear i dont see full boost (24psi) until 5.5k or so.... it will boost, stop around 14psi, then as the rpms climb so does the boost....

quick vid. sorry for the bad quality

any thoughts? im stumped. Id i route it back through the BOV and cap the compressor and i can get it to hit full boost around 4k but it will hit 24 and spike to god knows how much because i eventually hit fuel cut. Im thinking about getting rid of this damn MBC and going GM 3 port...Cold weather = enemy

what exactly do you mean when you say the boost is coming on slow?

slow to begin building or slow to peak?

have you done a boost leak test?

slow to peak. it builds just fine to 14 psi, then stops, then slowly reaches peak around 5.5 -6k.

just did a boost leak test. No leaks. problem started when it got cold and had to turn the boost down.

Re-check you have it installed correctly.......if it worked prior to moving it then there is something your overlooking.

It almost seems your hitting wastegate boost then at like 5500 your creeping to 24 psi. Didn't you say in the cold you had creep starting at around 5500 rpms? So that tells me check connections or check mbc to make sure its not faulty because its not working.

Wastegate Boost is 11-12psi (I know you say 14psi but its not uncommon for a gauge to be off 3psi, mine is). Without a 3 bar map you have no idea, prior to that I thought my car was running 23 psi when i went 3bar map my 23psi on the gauge was actually only 20, needless to say i picked up some ponies.

Hey guys, I just got my evo a week ago. It's a 2003 with ~36k miles and the mods in my sig. My previous two cars were a '94 Grand Prix and a 2003 Cavalier. Needless to say this is my first fun car with some power and it is so much fun.

Maybe that was a bit of an understatement...

Ugh, not yet. I keep considering it, but they are pretty expensive. I have the Fuzion zri's on right now with hardly any wear. Any suggestions for decently priced snow tires?

You can always go with a good all-season, they work well too.....I don't run winter tires, I just have bridgestone all-seasons that work very well. I just don't think we get enough snow for long enough periods around here.....but that's imo
