Screw registering the VI or 6.5 at all. Use that as your track only car and drive the stock IX everday. No need to register a track only car is there? But then again, you wouldn't be able to insure it either.

Go ahead with using that vin. The state would love to put that car in the impound lot.

Lord have mercy on all of us. Lets get back to things people don't desearve.
Haha and i am sure any given cop would understand the difference between a mirage and a evo 6. Not to mention there are actually conversions to make a mirage look identical to an evo just wouldnt be AWD or turbo

Second, i know of 3 people now with R32 skylines that have them registered as nissan coupes from 1989. insurance is like $25.00 per month on it on a 450whp awd car...

the old evo's and the mirage's are actually on the same chassis.

why do you think they are not here. It can cost up to $20,000 to get a car legal in the USA. half the people complain about modding cars, what makes you think they would buy the car for $XX,XXX then another $20,000 for the proper registration....

just another reason for locals to hate god forbid someone has something they dont

tell you what sugar ****. you actually get the car, then you can talk about people hating on things that others have but they don't.

it has nothing to do with the car. when my car was stock you and a few others were okay with me. following a build them few turned in to different people.

I was looking for some input, because i CAN get pretty much any car i want that you can get from japan or UK or whatever.

as for sugar ****. if **** were made of sugar, i would be a diabetic.

Why does it cost 15k-20k to federalize an Evo VI? Because its worth it. Non matching VINS on RHD cars? Even the slowest of law enforcement will guess something is up, impound it and then make you export it if you are honest or crush it if you lie.

Out of curiosity, what do you have that I or others do not that someone would covet?

Thanks.

Shockingly I haven't had any problems bottoming out(yet). The springs are pretty stiff so I think that helps. The front is higher then it looks thanks to the se lip kit too.

please man, we live in PA. I have driven around without a cat for 5 years and beeen pulled over 20 times and never had an issue.

What and how would they find out? people do it everyday, and i have never heard of someone getting in trouble... If its the same car as one made here, but with a few different body panels on it, how would one know the difference.

this is not California, we dont crush cars here.

please don't be simple minded either, i was commenting on the fact that if someone had a RHD TME and someone else couldnt get one they would start hating again. Its the nature of the beast.

this is getting old.

this is getting old.

The steering wheel being on the wrong side is kind of a dead giveaway.
The laws that you hear about being enforced in California are federal and they ARE enforced here. It's just very rare for someone to commit that flavor of fraud.

As to the rest let me get to the heart of the matter.

I get the impression you assume wrongly that you have a car that others cannot afford and think I and others are envious of your car.

You just do not realize that other people find it funny and I'll admit annoying that you publicly berate and "hate" others for not coveting your car. Hell in this case you are being negative towards others for something you DON'T have.
