local Pittsburgh Meet
Anyone else notice lately that the Dallas Cowboys have proclaimed themselves "Americas Football Team".
Big
to the Cowboys for being marketing ******.
To the Steelers for being the real deal. It's not like the Rooneys are running around calling themselves "The World's football team."

Hey guys, i am new to this site. I am originally from the pittsburgh area. I recently bought an evo, however i am in the military and they shipped me to south korea for a year. since ive been over here ive bought several parts online. i am coming home for 2 weeks for xmas. i cant wait to drive my evo. i am looking for a good place to have the parts installed and somewhere to have it tuned. does anyone know somewhere in the local area that does good work. thanks!
welcome to the site man
what's your mod list? did you buy the car stock, how many miles?
Mike,
I drove both the 05 and now the 06 all year around.
With proper snow tires in poor weather there is no better vehicle. Better then the old one ton 4wd pickup in the winter
Regarding rust on the suspension. Having just taken my suspension apart I can tell you that those big *** bolts can and do rust but nothing debilitating. Air tools and a breaker bar broke them loose quickly enough. No drama of seized bolts or so rusted the heads round or any of that nonsense.
The body. A good # of the body panels are aluminum. That's good.
Mitsubishi paint is poor. You will see a few more rock chips then you might otherwise.

So to recap, put a clearbra on the car, rallyarmor mudflaps, and your favorite mud and snow tires and have a blast.
so im planning on going to NY over x-mas break. My brother and I want to take our skis so we can hit the mountains up there. We thought it would be better to take the evo because our area gets **** loads of snow and his grand-am probably wouldnt cut it. Now the problem is there is no way to fit skis into an evo (logically). Does anybody in here ski or snowboad that uses a roofrack, i know ide probably look like an idiot driving that far with it but hey.

Run a search you'll see what I mean
Thanks for the welcome everyone. GO STEELERS, way to sweep baltimore. I bought my car last june. drove to michigan to but it. 05 electric blue, leather, sunroof, xenons, 22500 miles for $20600. i was so happy with that. i dont think i slept the first week i had it.lol. car already had magnaflow exhaust and K&N intake. so far ive bought the following mods;
MBC
Autometer boost gauge
Autometer wideband A/F ratio gauge
Megan downpipe
Megan Turbo Manifold
O2 outlet
Greddy BOV
Testpipe
turbo timer
walbro 255 fp
i am in the process of getting a LICP. Does the LICP really make that big of difference other than quicker spool up? With the mods i have listed here and a good tune, can anyone estimate what i might end up with HP wise?

No, the LICP does not make that big a difference. When you get a FMIC, do the LICP then.
Provided everything is running right tuned, 300whp is my guess.
