You guys should get together and do a Hoes on the Hood photoshoot. When Dan's car gets done eric can bring the hoes and like take pictures of them on the hood. That would be sexy or something like that.

I only upgraded to the twin disk once I put on the 30R, not because I had too

Should have let me get a go at it Dave. It wouldnt have broke. It would have gone low 13's
Im convinced by a 1.6, impressive. I've found that slipping the clutch is a fine line between bog and boil... and im not talking tires lol. I'll have to give er a shot next time

so i was thinking of maybe ditching the cat and throwing on a test pipe for fun. I really dont drive the evo that much, once a week to school and the rest is just fun little whenever drives, usually one trip on weekends somewhere also. everywhere else i go the evo stays at home usually. so since its illegal to not have a cat, is this a REALLY bad idea? What do you think would be the likely hood of me getting pulled over and the cop checking under the car, i would also have it disguised too? Am i just askin for trouble lol

i have a "friend" that has been using a test pipe for a couple years now with no issues. the only issue i think you have to worry about is if it makes an abundance of noise 100+db. That will probably get you some unnecessary attention from johnny law. also you're putting about 3kg of HydroCarbons into the atmosphere every hour you drive...just make sure you downshift everytime you pass a prius :P. I think there is some ridiculous federal fine that is imposed. In CT, you would be forced to have your car re-inspected...

You'll be fine with a test pipe. I ran mine for 2 years no issues. Just loud and smells a little. Over half the state doesn't even require emissions testing anyways. If you're really concerned get what is called a "rally cat" which is a test pipe with a shield from a regular cat welded on.

Thanks for your inputs everyone, especially Dan, Travis and Denny.

For other peoples reference the video that shows how to properly adjust the clutch is:

Made a big difference for me.
