local Pittsburgh Meet
So guys I've been really hush hush but I got my bike build I started two weeks ago complete. I contracted out with a local builder my friend at Slow Bob Racing to do the work
My bike has been down with a broken chain link and a flat tire. A good opportunity to upgrade.
Stronger brake cables(for rear brake turns), returned gear ratios and a new chain.
Also got new upgraded handles for a firm grip on such an *** kicking ride.
All is good now, However, the rain stopped me from running her today. Hopefully I'll have pics and vids soon.
Good things come to those who wait but its great to be back on the road.

The best thing you can do is purchase the longest breaker bar you can. 1/2'' drive. Then buy a set of extensions and even a wobler or two. If that doesn't work, the largest wratchet they make is a 3/4'' drive and it is a beast. That thing will loosen suspension bridge bolts. Without the proper tools, even the most mundane tasks can seem overwhelming. I used to struggle taking lug nuts off because I didn't have the right tools. Well, actually... I still do because dumbasses put the 250 ft-lb impact gun on the lugs and go to town. My 1/2'' drive torque wrench was clicking literally, I **** you not, at 200 ft-lbs one time on my lug nuts on my VIII. This is why I now request hand torquing my wheels to spec - 80 ft-lbs. I even broke a 3/8'' extension on lug nuts. That's some serious torque!
The next big obstacle seems to be getting the strut mount screws off since it looks like they can only be taken out if I remove the rear seat to a certain extent. But i dont think its gonna be as problematic as the lower strut screws, or at least I hope so.
You don't count! You probably disabled the interlock switch. But in his case, the interlock switch is like a momentary contactor. Normally open. The circuit needs to be closed to start the car. Obviously if it's bent and not aligned to the pedal, when you depress the clutch pedal, it will miss the contactor. It happened to me one time.
Its a simple life changing mod - not like bushings
i always end up upside down with the drivers seat all the way back, cursing and yelling at the push rod for the clutch pedal.
