Yeah, you could just try to bring it down a half turn or a full turn counterclockwise. Do it slowly - take your time. If you have any trouble shifting gears after lowering it you might have gone too far.

Oh, and one thing I forgot to mention - You must bend the clutch pedal interlock switch out of the way before you can access the rod. Don't forget to align this back properly when you're finished otherwise the car won't start.

Probaly because the car would then think the clutch pedal hasn't been
pushed in, I would assume.

You don't count! You probably disabled the interlock switch. But in his case, the interlock switch is like a momentary contactor. Normally open. The circuit needs to be closed to start the car. Obviously if it's bent and not aligned to the pedal, when you depress the clutch pedal, it will miss the contactor. It happened to me one time.

None taken. To each his own.
"hypoid gear oil API classification GL-5 SAE90" is what the factory calls for so I'm going to stick with that in my cars. Most of the other oils are75w-90, not straight 90 weight. I guess only time will tell if it matters.

I do use redline mt90 in the tranny. The VIII for some reason was happier with mt90 then the IX. I'll be trying something else pretty soon.

sometimes it's fun to randomly cut wires with a pair of snips and see what happens.

Also that's for the 5-speed....the 6-speed requires GL-4 75/85

haven't seen any of the reviews thus far, but CBRD's new turbo is looking quite promising.

so far it is a beast of a bolt on turbo. A very strong competitor to a 30r.

spoolup is around 4500rpm give or take if I remember correctly. Makes big TQ on spoolup it still tapers a fair bit but hits hard and makes big numbers

Both the Red and CBRD's turbo look very promising. It's nice to have options.

Secret Bike Rebuild

So guys I've been really hush hush but I got my bike build I started two weeks ago complete. I contracted out with a local builder my friend at Slow Bob Racing to do the work

My bike has been down with a broken chain link and a flat tire. A good opportunity to upgrade.

Stronger brake cables(for rear brake turns), returned gear ratios and a new chain.

Also got new upgraded handles for a firm grip on such an *** kicking ride.

All is good now, However, the rain stopped me from running her today. Hopefully I'll have pics and vids soon.

Good things come to those who wait but its great to be back on the road.
