Oh and I forgot, ground should be obvious, but just find any piece of bare metal and get a crimp on spade clip. Make sur e the negative battery terminal is off when playing with 12 v. It can hurt! Worse than AC.

Since you have an MR you can cut the stock boost gauges pressure hose and put the T into that.

Did you order the install kit? I think you'll need it. That has the proper hose.

GSC S1's. I hope it was worth it. I passed up a great deal from Dan for his HKS's. Both Greg and Chad told me the S1's were awesome.

Or also, the cigarette lighters green w/ white stripe wire. For a 12 volt source constant, you can use the Radio harness's black w/ red stripe wire. For a 12 volt-ignition-on you can tap the red cigarette wire. As far as the boost tap goes, you can tap the vac line on the the fuel pressure regulator. It's the short line that has a plastic loom around it. It's only about 4-6" long. I'd be more than happy to help you install it. Pm me if you need any more info. I'm pretty good with the gauges. For alternative installations, you can just use an "add a circuit" and plug it into the in cabin fuse box where you have an empty slot. To verify if it's ignition on, or constant, just take a meter and see if you have 12 v when the car is just in ignition on. I think I used the sunroof slot, because I do not have a sunroof. There are a few other options as well. Let me know if you need more help.
that about sums it up for ya. good luck if you need any insight pm me

good tech there brian

well how was everyone's weekend?

autocross for a cure was a hell of a good time yesterday. course was a little tight, but all in all it was fun.

and damn am i impressed with the car. the new tune made it an animal on the autocross course. i was very happy with my times, but i couldn't stay away from the cones all day. haha.

it's alright though, compared to alot of the other drivers, i actually hit alot less cones. very tight course in spots. the power delivery is much better now though, and i am even starting to be able to throttle steer a little. it's excellent.

jeremy took fastest time of the day, so many congratulations to him, but i have to bust his ***** a little because i am almost as fast as him in a straight line now.

now i just need to figure out how to drive like he does. haha.

so as always a real good weekend, and the NHSCC raised a good bit of money for the MS foundation.

anyone else been up to anything fun this weekend?

Well most of you know the Evo is gone I still have my winter wheels and winter tires, so if anyone is looking for a setup let me know. Wheels are 5Zigen black w/ polished lip. The clear film they put over the polished part needs removed and then cleaned for them to look good again because it's peeling. I can probably do this for you if you want

I also have a set of almost new Pirelli 210 Snowsport tires...

Looking for $450 for everything. PM me

Denny,

What size are your wheels, and do you have pics of them.

They're 17"...I'll get a pic tomorrow - they are so filthy from sitting in my garage right now that I wouldn't even take a picture of them tonight.

Denny,

Whenever you get a chance man, no rush. I might want them, if not we get people calling about 5zigen wheels all the time, so i will just direct them your way if i can't get them.

There is an install kit you can get from boostcontroller.com that makes life easy to install the gauge. I installed my stewart warner in a few minutes, hardest part is just routing the lines under the dash and through the firewall behind the glove box.

You have to use the lil plastic vac. line with the compression connector off the gauge and then that install kit comes with a small rubber vac. line that slides over the hard plastic line and then onto the T and then you just install the T in the FPR line or just tap into the existing line for the MR gauge like dave said.

The installed kit comes with the line, the T, and that little splicing hose...its pretty cheap and again just makes life easy.

I'm not even trying to fight this one. That's number 4! No I haven't and will not learn my lesson! I think I said the same exact thing after posting the last one, lol!
