On the evos the tire pressure is a little issue, the biggest issue is the alignment....A brand new evo usually is out of alignment.......On a soft tire like the advan just a small misalignment will chew all of the tires off.... One wheel being out of alignment will push the whole car/causing cupping...
i learned how fast a bad alignment can eat tires first hand. huh mike?
great job on that by the way man, i haven't even messed with the camber plates yet and have been very pleased with the handling.
Well guys the last hillclimb of the season is in the books. I managed to keep the shiney side up for the season. I also took the SM record away from my nemisis the flat black mustang. I ended up 5th fastest car on the hill only beaten bye two open wheel cars and a speed world challenge audi S4 race car.

These were from sat, not my fastest runs but not to far off. The jump may not seem like much but let me tell you it has taken many a car to its death. I will add that this kinda hill was made for the evo. It was hard to get traction anywere. I was one of the fastest cars off the line according to most of the crowd. And was able to deal with a crappy **** road surface with ease. Gotta love our evo's! I probably will have a roll bar for sale soon if anyone want to give this stuff a try.

Yes you sign a waiver at the beginning of each event. And yes there are alot of wrecks. There was about 5 this past weekend. One which resulted in a broken foot. It does happen more then i would have expected.

bout 6 days and half days left till halo3. it's gonna be sweet.
You kno what i would suggest is the michilin pilot sport All season. It is a fine winter tire and it is better in the dry then alot of dry tires. It is alittle more money then the rest but its worth it IMO. They will last alot longer then the advans.
So if you guys are wondring in that video from last weekends hilllclimb. The first car in front of me is a GT30R Rx7. The thing was bad ****! Something like 550-600 whp. What beat him was traction.

this sunday, september 23rd there is an autocross in north park.

weather looks perfect!

Race day starts with registration from 8:30 to 9:30am. Tech inspection closes at 10:00am. Timed runs follow the mandatory Drivers Meeting.
it's 20 bucks, and it is a hell of alot of fun!
of course my loaner helmet is always available for anyone who doesn't have one that wants to run.
