all i could tell was that it was a dark evo. i was two cars behind and the guy in front of me was driving slow as all hell. by the time i got out from behind the evo had already taken to homestead exit.

well....the day has come. Last night i was driving through neville island heading towards 79. Cops pull me over because my rear window is tinted. And what do you know he sees my window has no inspection stickers $75 dollar fine for no emissions sticker, $75 fine for the other one, $108 dollar fine for the rear windows being tinted. I thought that police was not allowed to just pull you over for tint alone...either way he said if i plead not guilty and go to court with my tint removed and inspection on my windows he said he has no problem in giving me a break. We'll see how that goes...now i need a damn cat.

this is america. the police can pull you over whenever they feel like it, for any reason, or no reason at all.

I got pulled over about a week ago for tint and won. u can have back 3 windows covered with cardboard and still drive your car as long as u have 2 auxiliary mirrors!!!! dont take it off, bc whats the break? he did not give u a ticket 4 it or points... u got a ticket 4 stickers...

i thought you were only allowed to have your rear windows tinted in an SUV not a normal passenger car. Tint laws are difficult to understand and vary in every state. Ill see him in court either way.

edit: just kidding. the law states it very clearly. I'm fighting it for sure. No reason why i should have to take it off...

The main problem with living in a police state is that the officers become judge, jury, and executioner. Since they see the judges near daily there is almost always a pro cop bias

What are you figthing anyways? why not just pay the fine for the expired stickers. thats what the fine is for, or did he GIVE you a ticket for the tint. You can go there, take off tint and do everything else, and they are still going to make you pay for the fine. Thats not going to change. Fines almost 100% of the time are NEVER lifted even on speeding tickets that are not legit. They just remove the points. If you are not given points, then there is nothing to fight. You dont even have to show up. just pay the fine in the mail with a money order, or at the local district court where the county resides in.

We the people elect judges. We get what our complacency and apathy deserve.

yeah he pulled me over for the window tint. "sir the reason i pulled you over is because your back windows are tinted" Smacked me with a 108 dollar fine for them. Then added on the two stickers missing...which is another 150 dollar fine.
