Yo you need to call me ASAP!! i had a buddy with the same issue who i can get in contact with or forward you his number.. I will PM you my number.

Put it this way, he had an alarm in his car (professionally installed) mitsu blamed it on him, and he paid $3200.00 for a new harness lol needless to say he was not happy.

He drove for like 13 straight days of nothing but wipers on... no rain, 95 degrees outside and them bad boys were streaking on the hot glass

.....to smack it with a freakin baseball bat because it's so damn hideously disgusting. The wheels on that thing make it even more repugnant. And reading further, you have to add $2,000 just to get those awful wheels to make your car look even worse. So for a grand total of $37,000 you can now have one of Japan's most horrid looking vehicles.

geez, angry much?

the sti has been steadily getting uglier over it's life in america. it just looks too plain now, and i am not a fan of the 5 door.

Just one more, lol. This actually isn't funny though cause I could have gotten f'd up. I took my F150 for brake work at Day Ford in Monroeville. They resurfaced the rotors and drums and whatever. Later that night, I was driving around and noticed this weird sound. Two minutes later I suddenly heard a horrible BOOM and my neck practically snapped back. All I saw was sparks coming from my truck in the driver side mirror. I hit the brakes and stopped the car. I got out and what do you know? The f'in rear wheel flew off! The deuche bags at the dealer forgot to tighten the lug nuts! Luckily I wasn't on a main road and wasn't going more than 35-40 MPH. Needless to say, now whenever the evo wheels come off, I torque those lug nuts down like 4-5 times just to be sure!

haha, i have been in a car that a wheel came off as well.

it was in my buddies integra, long time ago. he had JUST picked it up from the tire shop, and we were driving back to his house.

we kept hearing a rattling sound from the front drivers side wheel. i told him it sounded like lugnuts and that he should pull over and check. the way his stock wheels were, they had a metal cover that was screwed into place over the lugs. so it literally sounded like popcorn going nuts in a metal pan.

he dismisses me and says he trusts the tire shop, the wheel is on right, blah blah blah.

well not 5 minutes later we turn onto his road (he lived in the sticks, his road had a 45mph speed limit lol), and as we start taking this gentle left, the car shakes, drops, and we are staring at sparks shooting over his roof from the front drivers side, and just as we all look up, we see his wheel go shooting out in front and straight off into the woods.

luckily no one was hurt and even the car was undamaged. tire shop refunded his money. ha, i told him he should have sued them.

Alright i just want to throw a huge shout out to Mike (mitsmaster). Had that clutch problem and i was on my way to the dealership in Wexford so he could take a look at it. Didnt make it 5minutes of the 30minute drive before my clutch was stuck to floor and would not move. The car wouldnt even turn on. Ended up having to get it towed there (which is never fun seeing your car on the back of a tow truck). Got it to the dealership and Mike fixed it in know time and had me back on the road asap. He saved me so much trouble since i have a 5 hour drive home tomorrow/sunday, depending on the snow. Just wanted to let everyone know that if you got some problems/questions, hes the man to see. Knows what he is doing and is real understanding which always makes a bad evo situation better. Thanks again Mike and appreciate everything. Mad props. And yes i do owe you one now.

On a different note, im a maybe now for the meet cause i got the apr front lip which is only 3 inches off the ground so im a little lerious as to driving it in the snow if the snow is more than 3 inches.

we used to go up to an old, abandoned, light aircraft runway in south fayette and race up and down it. the exit to this place is pretty tricky and its easy to miss if your never been up there. as we were leaving ( a civic (me), an integra, and a blazer) one night my buddy in the blazer, who had never been up there, completly missed the turn off and drove off the end of the runway. its a pretty steep drop, let alone all the sticks and bushes. he ended up with 2 blown tires and a really good leson. to be young and stupid....
